Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Looking for a full-time SLPA Monday (9-6) - Friday (8-5).
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a qualified pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to provide support and services under direct supervision of a licensed SLP, for children (birth to 21 years) and work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and social communication.
SLPA's daily responsibilities:
- ongoing speech sessions with clients on caseload
- data tracking to report on goals
- clear communication with parents to review session and to deliver home assignments
- maintaining SOAP notes for daily appointments

SLPA's must be able to:
- Provide direct treatment by following plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.
- Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP.
- Have strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work independently
- Collection of data with each session
- Have completed an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant training program.
- Hold a current SLPA license.
- Hold a current fingerprint clearance card or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Ability to be flexible
