Job description
New Horizon Therapy is looking to hire an enthusiastic and highly motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is looking for a stress free environment to work in. The COTA will work alongside the OT who will provide strong support to further help the COTA grow as a professional. We are team driven by helping each other grow as professionals. We are ‘one’ in providing the best therapy for those who come to see us everyday.
Preferred candidates:
- Must enjoy working with kids
- Must be a graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
- Must be currently registered/licensed in Arizona by the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
- All preferred candidates must be able to implement and follow occupational therapy treatment plans, recommendations, goals, and objectives under the direction of the occupational therapist. Additionally all candidates must be able to implement and adhere to clinic policies and procedures. Preferred candidates must be able to utilize therapy software and document in an appropriate and timely manner. All candidates must be able to sit, stand, lift, push, pull, stop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during work hours. Pediatric experience is preferred.
